Q1:How easy is Protektit to use?
A: Protektit is easier than backing up to a tape or disk because once set up it runs automatically for you, leaving your time free to get on with other things.

Q2: How secure is Protektit?
A: Protektit is extremely secure. No one here can access or view your files, which are both password protected and encrypted using 448-bit military grade blowfish technology, which is over 3 times higher than the banking industry uses.  All files are stored off-site in 3 separate state of the art security data centers and the software is designed to be compliant with ISO17799.  Protektit is registered with the Data Protection Registrar.

Q3: How much does Protektit cost?
A: Our software charges you monthly for the data you store. 

Files are compressed before they are backed up, which means you should be able to save more files than your package suggests (i.e word/excel documents compress by as much as 70%).

Q4: How do I pay?
A: Payments can be made quickly & securely online using a debit or credit card (all cards accepted inc Amex). All payments are collected via WorldPay (part of Royal bank of Scotland) and the transaction will appear on your statement. We do not charge any transaction fees.

Q5: How do I get more storage?
A: Protektit is fully scalable and when extra space is required accounts are automatically upgraded so customers do not have to do anything.
