All files saved with Protektit are password protected, encrypted and securely stored in 3 tier four geographically separated data centres.
- Prior to backing up, Protektit encrypts your files to ensure secure transfer of all information.
- Three copies of your encrypted files are made and each one is automatically sent to a separate maximum security data centre using your Internet connection.
- Once stored in our data centres, your files are further encrypted to 448bit level, assuring to security and privacy.
No one at Protektit has access to your password or files, making this the most secure way to keep your computer data safe!
Note:
- Protektit is registered with the data protection registrar and does not make available any customer information to 3rd party organisations (i.e we do not sell any information to marketing companies).
- All our servers reside in the UK, and no data is transferred overseas by us at any time.
