An activity in which some parts of the Business Continuity Plan are followed to ensure that it contains up to date and appropriate information that will produce the desired result during and after an Incident. A test is distinct from an exercise in that a test occurs at an Alternative Premises and uses all the resources required for Recovery

Utilities:

Organisations providing essential services e.g. gas, water and electricity

Version Control:

The process of recording changes and updates to the Business Continuity Plan and its re-issue to Key staff

Welfare:

Provision of services to staff, visitors and contractors in order to ensure their well-being and safety

Work in Progress:

Work being done at a given point in time, (e.g. immediately prior to a disruption or Incident)
